If you are an animal lover, you want the best possible
care for your pet while you are away. Our animal companions are precious
to us, and giving your pet the love and affection it's accustomed to
is my goal. I've had cats and dogs all my life - at least 20 pets -
and they have all lived to a ripe old age in good health and spirits.
I'm also familiar with smaller mammals and have successfully kept fish
and reptiles as well.
Be confident that your pet will have the care, food,
exercise - and if necessary, medicine your vet has prescribed - while
you are away. I'm also happy to take your pet for grooming appointments,
or for non-emergency vet appointments. I will report back to you with
full details and instructions and make sure that you understand what
the doctor has said.
A few years ago, Beth helped care for our
ailing cat while we were away for two weeks. This entailed travelling
up a mountain to feed, pet, and administer subcutaneous fluids every
day; and, since the cat was somewhat fearful and curiously strong for
a sick creature, coordinating with another person to work together.
All went without a hitch, and we were very grateful for Beth's organization
and skill, and calming influence on the critter.
